At Georgetown Fitness, our team of dedicated and certified trainers and nutrition professionals have a true passion for leading their clients towards their fitness successes. Whether it be weight loss, increased strength, nutritional planning or overall fitness, our trainers and dietitian are specialized in structuring unique individual fitness and nutrition programs that lead to successful achievement of their clients’ goals. David Jacobs

David Jacobs
Owner and Certified Trainer

After deciding to pursue a career in personal training, I began taking my own training and physique very seriously. But life had a different plan… I was suddenly faced with some very difficult health and personal obstacles. I stopped taking care of myself and I slowly began to feel like I lost my motivation and purpose. Working hard to overcome these obstacles, I slowly regained energy, a renewed passion, and I was hopeful for the future. I look at health so much more holistically now – knowing the need to be emotionally, mentally and physically healthy in order to truly thrive. With this new understanding I created Georgetown Fitness to be a small, intimate environment where clients can grow and relationships can develop. While making enhancements to the current facility, I look forward to opening new facilities in the coming years. My goal in sharing my story and experience is to bring hope and inspiration to others, while providing professional fitness services in a positive and encouraging environment. I am currently creating a program designed to help cancer survivors to gain their strength back and take charge of their health after treatment. After my own personal journey to health, I worked to make sure that Georgetown Fitness is a place where we focus on creating our best self. I invite you to meet with me to discuss the creation of your own health fitness journey. Emilie Jacobs

Emilie Jacobs
Registered Dietitian / Certified Trainer

Emilie is a certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, with a master’s degree in Dietetics from D’Youville college, and bachelors degrees in Exercise Science and Biology from Ohio Wesleyan University. Emilie is also a NASM certified personal trainer, USA certified swim coach, and Head Cross Country coach for Medaille College. Her experience has included years of working with individuals of all ages and abilities, from teaching swimming lessons to children as young as 6 months to leading exercise classes for individuals at Weinberg senior community. Emilie has always been passionate about fitness and properly fueling our bodies to maximize performance. She was a collegiate swimmer and runner and now enjoys training for marathons and triathlons. Emilie has had clinical experience as a Dietitian working with individuals with a wide variety of health complications, including but not limited to, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, weight loss, and weight gain.  At Georgetown Fitness, Emilie’s expertise will help individuals improve their overall health and fitness through nutrition.

Nathan Ognibene

Nathan Ognibene
Certified Trainer

Nathan strives to provide excellence for his clients in the form of unbridled enthusiasm, charisma, integrity, and professionalism.

Over the past 3 years, Nathan has helped numerous people obtain their ideal goal of weight loss while incorporating healthier habits and lifestyle choices. It is his passion to help people, and within this industry, he is able to do so through the medium that is fitness and exercise. He is a firm believer in building strong relationships and a rapport that keeps both he and his clients accountable, as well as progressing in aspects conducive to an overall healthier life. With specializations obtained over his 6-year career in the industry, he takes an unconventional approach in addressing the mindset and improving overall mental health in conjunction with the physiological adaptations that occur in a consistent program.

Kristen Kuminski

Kristen Kuminski
Certified Trainer

Kristen is an ACSM certified personal trainer with a background in nutrition. She has an associate’s degree in Dietetic Technology and is working towards becoming a Registered Dietitian. She has a strong passion for helping others reach and maintain their optimal state of wellbeing. As an advocate of holistic health, Kristen addresses the whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health. Kristen works with a variety of different clientele, helping individuals reach their wellness goals. She has experience with mobility and flexibility training, muscle hypertrophy training, and overall strength and conditioning. As a personal trainer, Kristen will work to identify your specific goals, develop a plan to reach them, and guide you to success.
